His research focuses on electroencephalographic oscillatory activity to develop dynamic models of brain networks and diagnostic support tools related to hearing loss, vocal production disorders, psychiatric conditions, and neurodegenerative diseases. As a co-investigator of the European–Latin American Electroencephalography Consortium (EuroLAD-EEG), a global platform for dementia research, he develops EEG harmonization methods for multicentre studies to support the development of biomarkers for dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders.
